For more than 25 years, the continuing dental education centre of the International Dental Institute (IDI) has had as a mission the professional development of all members of a dental clinic’s team, notably by fostering harmony and quality of life in the workplace.
Our lecturers are committed to sharing their knowledge by focusing on the interdependence of roles. Consequently, it is important that the members of a team understand what each of his colleagues bring to patient relations and the sound management of a dental practice. The quality of services begins with healthy human relations. Implementing effective systems that foster the full potential of everyone involved ensures services of the highest quality. What is a beautiful restoration worth to a patient who has been badly greeted, had to wait an hour, suffered during a procedure and therefore left the office having had a negative experience?
The use of proven protocols is often seeing as adding to the workload when in fact such protocols improve efficiency and free up time to enhance interrelationships with patients and colleagues.
To fulfill our mission, we develop courses, seminars, programs in modules targeted either to the entire team, or to each role: dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants, dental secretaries, treatment coordinators and dental practice managers.
