More than 70% of children suffer from malocclusion. A dentist has the responsibility to detect any skeletal, functional or dental anomaly as soon as it appears. A quick treatment reduces the senerity of growth problems and may even eliminate them.

The courses given at the IDI will not transform a general practitioner into a specialist in orthodontics but will enable him to have an active part in many orthodontic treatments. Collaboration with specialists is encouraged.
