Objectifs éducationnels

The present lecture will focus on contemporary and novel techniques to enhance soft tissue phenotype at implant sites, and to prevent and manage implant soft tissue complications. The use of autogenous grafts, substitutes, and the role of the implant prosthetic components will be discussed in details.

Biological and esthetic complications of dental implants are not rare findings.

Recent scientific evidence highlights the importance of the peri-implant soft tissue phenotype and its augmentation for improving esthetics, health, and patient comfort at implant sites.

While soft tissue augmentation techniques with autogenous grafts have been shown to be successful, minimally invasive approaches with collagen matrices and biologics have been more and more advocated by clinicians and patients.

The present lecture will focus on contemporary soft tissue grafting approaches for promoting peri-implant health, esthetic outcomes, and stability of the soft tissue margin over time.

Workshop :

  • Soft tissue augmentation with the strip graft technique
  • Prosthetic-Surgical approach for the correction of an anterior implant with esthetic complication
  • Augmentation with connective tissue graft and collagen matrix

AM Session: Lecture (max capacity of 60 participants)
PM Session: Hands-on workshops (max capacity of 25-30 participants)
